According to our tour guide, this place was built to honor the sea gods and bats. There are also 2 giant snakes living inside the cave and they considered them as the guardian of the cave. Those snakes are a couple, the male one is the giant snake. No one ever said to meet these snakes, except for one man, the Jero Mangku or holy man that leads the ceremony.
