About Jackie - Hey It's Jacque

Jacque is travel, lifestyle and food blogger since 2008. She grew up in a small town in Central Luzon of the Philippines. Happily born on the 11th day of November. Her parents are a native of Cebu and Tarlac and have Filipino, Spanish, and Japanese descent. At the age of 15, she started to live far away from her parents, where she learned how to become a strong and independent woman. She graduated from De La Salle University – Health Sciences Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Since her childhood days, she has had a huge passion for Social Media & Multimedia Arts such as Photography, Film, Video Editing, Web Designing, and anything art-related. Aside from that, she loves to dance and explore new things. Her taste in music lies between Indie rock, RnB, and electronic plus mellow Kpop tunes to ease away her stress.

Come September 2008, Jacque wanna expand her horizons and give blogging a try. “Try” being the operative word.

She started publishing blog posts through various sites such as Wretch, Decoo, Tumblr, Weebly, and Sosblog. By April 2009, she decided to stick on Blogspot as her blogging platform. She truly enjoyed blogging and little by little, people around school encouraged her to continue it. Jacque thought it would be fun to try it out and help people gain inspiration from her post. After a decade of being a blogger, last September 2018 she finally moved to a new blogging platform which is WordPress.

The greatest achievement of her blog so far is being selected as a finalist for Wow Korea Supporter of Korea Tourism Organization Manila. Luckily, she won as a 1st runner-up in the yr 2013 and also gathered several awards from SG blogosphere clubs.

Her blog and social media sites serve as her personal diary to keep and share her memories, photowalks, adventures, and everyday lifestyle but most of all her testament to others to dream and believe in their passion.

Currently, Jacque now resides in Manila and travels whenever she has time to meet new people and gain new experiences. She hopes that you enjoy reading her little blog and thanks you from the bottom of her heart for dropping by.
