Fiery Style: A Taste of Mexican Cuisine

fiery style eastwood

In case you can’t tell, my obsession for Mexican food runs deep in me. I might even go as far as to say it’s my favorite cuisine. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy a warm basket of tacos, snacking on a pile of tortilla chips and a massive glass of margarita. I know for sure it makes me happy. I don’t just enjoy Mexican food, I crave it, all varieties of it.

Last June 5, 2019,  I was part of the lucky ones who got the chance to be invited to the grand opening of Fiery Style. Together with other bloggers, we got the opportunity to meet and talk to Mr. Philipp Danao, the first Franchise owner of the 9th Fiery Style Southwestern Flaming Grill branch in the Philippines.

AMBIANCE

Located in Quezon City, Fiery Style is one of the many restaurants in Eastwood Mall. The place is really cozy and homey. I have never been to Mexico but I am assuming these orange furniture and brick walls are a small taste of what Mexico is like. The girls were all dressed up with their cowboy hats and boots. They never fail to smile and always so eager to assist.

FOOD

We started off our Fiery Style eat experience with the Fiery Nachos, a mountain of colorful tortilla chips topped with cheese and other toppings, which make up a tasty and crunchy nacho. This was served in a hollow cylindrical stainless tube and definitely good for sharing.

TACO

If Taco is your thing, try their Fiery Grilled Sisig and Marinated shrimps, it’s a great appetizer! Here, you’ll get a choice of flour or corn filled with shredded lettuce, refried beans topped with Mexican cheese, salsa, sour cream and choice of filling. The ingredient tasted fresh, which made it more enjoyable to eat.

CHURROS

Next is Fiery Style’s Southwest Churros which is served with vanilla and chocolate ice cream. This churro is with a twist and very appealing for me.

QUESADILLA

For Quesadillas lover, you will definitely enjoy Cheesy Quesadillas which is cheesy and crispy treat stuffed with Mexican cheese. You can have your choice which sauce to dip it with for more savory experience. These sauces are Guacamole, Sour cream, Lettuce, and Classic Salsa.

RIB EYE STEAK

Aside from the Quesadillas, we also savor for Rib Eye steak. The flame-grilled beef steaks are seasoned with salt, cracked black pepper, and spices; served on sizzling onions with mushrooms and half a grilled tomato. Upon tasting it, I can say that it was juicy and flavorful and the choriz rice compliments the steak very well.

STEAK ALA FAMILIA

A trip at Fiery Style is not complete without tasting their  Steak ala Familia. This is one-kilo of sizzling Rump Steak served with their very own Fiery gravy sauce. It is one of our favorites among the other dishes that we have tried. The dish comes off as tender, flavorful and juicy. The seasoning is just right, it complements the entire rump steak flawlessly.

LORD OF THE WINGS

Another outstanding dish at Fiery Style is the Lord of the Wings which is composed of 24 pieces of chicken wings, 8 of each is topped with the various flavors such as Hot Hot Hot Sauce and Jalapenos, Nacho Cheese Sauce & Bacon and Texan-style BBQ. They’re served hooked in skewers like BBQ style and hanging in their rack.
