Such a nice view to take awesome photos of the flowers!Photobucket

Photobucket Lycoris of Seonunsa Temple
Lycoris is a Greek word and it means twilight. It usually starts to bloom in mid-September and its foliage appears once the flowers fall off.
Unlike the soft colors of lotus flowers, the brilliant reds of lycoris may not seem fitting for temple grounds, bec. of the poison contained in the root of the lycoris that is strong enough to bring down an elephant. It also been used to preserve the Buddhist temples & drawings in Korea.Photobucket
Lycoris, it means; a sad fate , sad memories or a hopeless love.
The girl is in love with this guy and she believe in fairy tales.Photobucket

PhotobucketMaple Trees of Naejangsan National Park
KOREAN MAPLE (Acer pseudosieboldianum)
This extremely adaptable and hardy small tree is ideal for northern gardens where Japanese Maples won’t survive. Unique small purple flowers appear in spring as new foliage emerges.
Naejangsan National Park is a bustling autumn tourist destination due to its spectacular fall foliage in Jeeolla-do province. Did you know that the name Naejang means ‘many secret‘ in the mountain, bec. of the bright crimson leaves that blanket Naejangsan Mountain’s fall scenery. It also referred to as “Geumgangsan of Honam.” The maple leaves in the Mmuntain are characteristically small, delicate, and rich in color, and also go by the name “baby danpung (maple)” for they are said to resemble a baby’s palm.
This Park is beautiful not only in the fall, but also in the spring when the azaleas and cherry blossoms bloom, in the summer when the green mountain turns greener, and the winter when the rock cliffs cover themselves with snow. All throughout the year, different kinds of wild flowers bloom here.
During this time of year, the mountain is covered with crimson and yellow maple leaves. The scenery unfolds at the maple tree tunnel connecting the parking lot to Naejangsa Temple. Uhwajeong Pavilion is located in the middle of a lake on the way to the Mt. Naejangsan Visitor Information Center. It’s already expected that there will be a huge of visitors like photographers and tourists that will come here during late Oct. and early November to  capture the particularly beautiful view of the pavilion and the autumn foliage reflected in the lake.Photobucket

This Tree Forest is lined with around 2,000 ginkgo trees planted at intervals of 5 meters without any other tree species.
Every Autumn season, the ginkgo leaves turn yellow & create unforgettable scenery

Siberian Chrysanthemum of Siberian Chrysanthemum Theme Park
Siberian Chrysanthemum Theme Park is a one of the popular fall travel destination. It lives several years and prospers as its roots spread. It is originated from the fact that this flower has five joints in May which become nine joints on September 9th according to lunar calendar. This flower plant is used in oriental medicine for curing women’s diseases when it is harvested around September 9th on the lunar calendar.
Photobucket No lake in Korea is so attractive as Okjeongho Lake during Autumn, because it meanders like a giant snake amid steep, high mountains, serenity that marks a welcome contrast to bustling cities & generosity of the resident people out there.  In short, the field on the western tip of the Lake makes an impressive landscape that fascinates visitors with the fantastic charm of autumn. When all the mountains & fields are covered with colorful leaves of autumn, the Siberian chrysanthemum flower beds dance in cool breeze with their sweet elegant smile.
Every Autumn, the annual Siberian Chrysanthemum Festival takes place  to offer a range of activities and events related to this autumn flower. Visitors can enjoy a romantic fall getaway while strolling along the walking path among a field of picturesque purple Siberian Chrysanthemum blossoms.

Photobucket TRIVIA:In 2009 more than 350,000 people participated in the festival making the festival one of 20 most popular festival in the nation.

Silver Grass of Sinbulsan Mountain
Photobucket There are also places in Korea that are famous for reeds and miscanthus sinensis, sometimes called “silver grass” or Eulalia grass. The casual observer might feel that the two plants look similar. Reeds, called “galdae” in Korea, are frequently found on riversides and wetlands. Varieties of Miscanthus (silver grass, “eoksae” in Korean), are found on mountains and in fields.

One of the most famous place in Korea for viewing silver grass is Sinbulsan Mountain in Ulsan, because it offers spectacular views of these golden fields of silver grass stretching across the mountain, near the peak.
The expansive field of the fine, picturesque silver grass on Sinbulsan Mountain fully evokes the fall season.Photobucket
Every October the silver grass is in full bloom that cause the mountain landscapes to be charming; During this period as well the Annual Silver Grass Festival also held.

Photobucket TRIVIA:Although the silver grass blooms around the same time as the maple trees, silver grass lasts longer, up until November.

This is the last part of the episode wherein the girl finally confess to the guy that she likes himPhotobucket
