They gathered other tour participants in the early evening. The tour began after a brief orientation with the guide.
Tender and lean, galmaegisal is a cut of pork skirt steak found between the midriff & liver. This cut of meat is quite tender, a little chewy & full of flavor. After placing there order, they were served with meat slight cooked. The pre-grilling of meat allows diners to cook the meat faster while searing in some of the flavor.
2. Gungjung tteokbokki + Cheongju
Tteokbokki is classified as a snack food in Korea, which means that it is usually not an accompaniment to alcoholic beverages
There next destination was a popular tteokbokki eatery in Jongno. This establishment served various styles of tteokbokki, from cheese tteokbokki to veggie tteokbokki.

Unlike the standard variety tteokbokki that is cooked in a red chili pepper paste sauce, gungjung tteokbokki is smothered in soy sauce. Gungjung means royal court, and as the name suggests, this style of tteokbokki was consumed by the royal family long along, though the recipe has most likely undergone a change or two over time. Today, gungjung tteokbokki features bite-sized rice cakes, fish cakes, vegetables, and beef and has a mild and sweet taste.
3. Gogalbi + Makgeolli
Next destination was Pimatgol pojangmacha (street stalls or small tented restaurants on wheels).  In Korean, ‘pi’ means ‘to avoid’, while ‘mat’ depicts the traditional wooden chairs such as kyoja or kama that were once used to escort the elite. The word ‘goldenotes alleyway, or back road. Over time, various shops opened along the secret passage that feature such traditional menu items as janchi guksu (banquet noodles) and gamja tang (pork rib soup with potatoes), adding to the area’s overall unique character.
4. Bindaetteok + Makgeolli
And their last destination was Gwangjang Market. It’s the nation’s first market and continues to thrive as a popular tourist destination today. It’s the second floor provides all silk, satin & linen bed-sheet stores, which is the largest and most famous in Seoul. Gwangjang is also famous for delicious food like bindaetteok, which is a very popular snack in Korea.
Bindaetteok is a traditional Korean food. A batter of ground mung beans, vegetables, and meat is cooked in a frying pan. This savory pancake dish is also highly nutritious and could easily be had as a meal. Korean people consider makgeolli (rice based Korean alcoholic beverage) to be a great accompaniment to bindaetteok as they compliment each other very well.
