Christmas is around the corner and it’s time for parties, potlucks, and the like. All of the events that we’ll be attending will always have one thing in common, FOOD. Whenever we think about catching up with friends or maybe spending time with family, food is always one of the stars of the event. And as we look for options on what to bring for a potluck, we always discover something new. One of the easiest choices to bring for a potluck party or to feast on during a gathering is no other than Lasagna!
Two weeks ago, my blogger friends and I dined at House of Lasagna at SM North. This resto is best known for the wide variety of lasagna that they have. In fact, they ranked #1 in the top ten list of meat Lasagnas by Spot.ph
FOOD
We started off our dining experience with their sinful, fried chicken skin. It’s enacted in their special seasoning served with a vinegar dip on the side. I love how crispy it is and not oily at all.
Nothing beats the classic Beef Lasagna! Cheesy, creamy and meaty. I could still taste how awesome this House of Lasagna bestseller is. A perfect pick for a first visit!
We also tried their Southern Fried Chicken. It’s coated with their family’s well-loved seasoning and deep-fried to golden perfection. It tasted really good especially when it’s hot.
A trip at House of Lasagna is not complete without tasting their Beef Lasagna which is made of 100% ground beef simmered in Chef Erick’s special sauce and bechamel sauce spread between tender layers of lasagna noodles baked with delicious cheeses.
Aside from the Beef Lasagna, we also savor for Carbonara Lasagna. It composed of bits of bacon, mushroom and more bacon in layers of Pasta and creamy White sauce.
If salads are your thing, try their Sweet Vinaigrette Chicken Salad! Here, you’ll get a chicken topped greens tossed in a honey-sweetened balsamic-vinaigrette dressing. Every ingredient tasted really fresh and each had various textures, which made it more enjoyable to eat.
