Nat Geo Run 2018

Nat Geo Earth Day Run 2018 is one of the most awaited and well-attended running events in the country every year and its slated last April 22, at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds.

Now on its 9th year, the Nat Geo Earth Day Run reinforces its commitment to preserving the planet by calling all “Eco Warriors” to be part of the exciting race, which will coincide, with the celebration of the International Earth Day

We arrived at around 12 pm, so Kristian and I decided to roamed around in SM MOA seaside. While walking, I asked him to take a good shot of me while sitting in the middle of the highway hahaha. This is so fun.

And you know what? I unexpectedly met a girl who’s also from La Salle and we had a good talk to each other while waiting for the fun run. The funny thing is that I only approached her to take a picture of me hahahaha tadaaa. It seems like I’m really a friendly person.

Nowadays, Nat Geo Earth Day Run has been attracting thousands of individuals across Asia who has pledged to save the planet.
In the Philippines, they’re looking to see 15,000 runners across the 3K, 5K, 10K and 21K categories

The registration fee for the 3K category is P750, 5K category is P850, 10K category is P950 and 21K is P1,400.00. The gun started for participants of the 21K run is at 3:30 a.m., 10K is at 4:00 a.m., 5K is at 5:30 a.m. and 3K is at 6:00 a.m.

Registered runners received a singlet, race bib, timing chip, water bottle and towel. 21K race finishers received a finisher’s medal and a finisher’s shirt, while 10K finishers received a finisher’s medal.

It’s my first time to attend this kind of event and it’s totally great seeing the smile of each participant.

I can proudly announced that this years event is quite success. Many participant attended and it seems like everyone has a discipline cos I noticed that everyone is putting their garbage in designated areas. Well, they should cos the main purpose of this nat geo event is “to save earth“.
